If arriving by plane, you can choose to take a taxi or public transportation from the airport to our hotel. A taxi stand is located just outside of luggage claim. The drive to Hotel St. Annen will take approximately 30 minutes and cost approximately 30€. The S-Bahn (S1 Line) station located within the airport has trains departing every 10 minutes. Exiting station Reeperbahn (travel time approximately 35 minutes), our hotel is about ten minutes walking distance down the Reeperbahn and making a left on Hein-Hoyer-Straße.
Traveling from the southern side of Hamburg, you can reach us via the Autobahn A7 (direction
Flensburg) through the new Elbtunnel/ “Neuen Elbtunnel”, take the second exit “Bahrenfeld”
and turn right (towards the city center). If traveling from the northern side of Hamburg, you can
reach us via the Autobahn A7 by taking exit “Bahrenfeld and making a left (towards the city
After following the Bahrenfelder Chaussee/Stresemannstrasse 4 km, you will reach a large intersection (“Neuer Pferdemarkt”). Make the first possible right onto Neuer Pferdemarkt, then a left onto Wohlwillstrasse and a final left at Paulinenplatz. Hotel St. Annen will be straight ahead at the end of the street.
If arriving by train to Hamburg’s Hauptbahnhof (Central Station), please take the U-Bahn Line U3 (the yellow line on the transportation map) in the direction of the Rathaus/Landungsbrücken. In 12 minutes you will exit at the St. Pauli Station. Travel along the Budapester Straße (right of the Reeperbahn) and make a left onto the Clemens- Schultz-Straße and keep right at the crossing with Detlev-Bremer-Straße. Following the Annenstraße you will have reached the hotel in 7-8 minutes from the station.
